MARCSTA Safety Certificate
MARCSTA stands for Mining and Resource Contractors Safety Training Association. A MARCSTA certificate is valid for 2 years.
The MARCSTA General Safety Induction program is designed for workers engaged in all surface operations of mines and other industrial workplaces as a basic introduction to safe working practices within the mining, resources and associated industry sectors. This 1 day course is based on units of competence from the nationally endorsed Metalliferous Training Package MNMG202A Work Safely.
The course covers information on how to:
• Access and Apply Site Safety Procedures;
• Apply Personal Safety Measures;
• Identify and Report Incidents/Hazards;
• Apply Emergency Procedures According to site requirements; and
• Maintain Personal Well-Being
